Maurice Johnson & Partners was founded in April 2009 by a team of highly experienced and professionally affiliated Engineers. The firm was formed by Maurice in bringing together the practises of Alpha Fire Safety Consultants & Fortune McShane to establish Maurice Johnson & Partners. The Directors of MJP have, collectively, in excess of 60 years professional Fire Engineering and Event Safety consultancy experience in both the UK & Ireland and have worked on many of the most significant projects undertaken over the last twenty years.

The firm aims to provide its Client’s with the best quality service both in terms of finding creative fire engineering solutions where appropriate and also providing a prompt, reliable and cost effective service with specific regard to project timelines. With these objectives in mind the firm has established regional offices in Cork and Letterkenny in addition to its head office which is located in the heart of the business district in Dublin.

The firm is committed to maintaining the highest levels of technical expertise through an on-going programme of Continuous Professional Development including participation in various national and international conferences and forums. Our CPD programme applies to all aspects of our service portfolio encompassing cutting edge first principles fire engineering design using advanced computer modelling in the analysis of structural fire engineering designs, means of escape systems and smoke control designs.

Since its formation, the firm has quickly established itself as a leading Fire Engineering Practice culminating in it's recent appointment following a rigorous international competition as the Fire Safety Consultants for the Children's Hospital of Ireland projects in the Mater and Tallaght Hospital Campus'.
